Our sweet boy is 4 today! I cannot believe it! We moved to Scotland when Luke was younger than Lizzie is, so seeing him double what Rebekah was {2} is just plain crazy. I had NO idea what a funny little boy he would become- he is hysterical and keeps us laughing all the time {well, most of the time anyway}. He is sweet, tender, fun, smart, eager to please, loyal, social, and a whole lot like me. ;) We are two peas in a pod, Lukey and me, and I am just fine with that. I love my little buddy, and the little boy he has become. Since starting nursery and having a little sister, Luke has really blossomed- he has become more independent and more likely to try new things. He has the sweetest little smile that just melts my heart- and melt it, he does. He knows just when to tell me he loves me and is very, very generous with his kisses and pats. Luke can barely walk by you without grazing you with a kiss or rub, almost without realizing it. Lizzie is no exception- Luke loves to “wub” his baby sister.
Lukey Duke, I love you. In fact, I adore you. You make every day so fun and special, and I love reading to you, playing games with you {even tho you cheat}, and doing your puzzles for you, I mean with you. I love your full body hugs and the way you melt into us when you sit on our laps. Lastly, I LOVE the way you make your food talk before you eat it. You kill me. Really. You are my very best boy.
