Luke’s Big Day
We had so much fun celebrating Luke’s 2nd birthday! Josh made him pancakes, and then took the kids on some errands, while Mom and I finished decorating and making food. We ended up with a full house and a gorgeous day, which made entertaining so many much more manageable! I felt very relaxed through it all, with all the help, and just being with friends. Some were unable to make it, but we felt very blessed by those who were able to come and celebrate with us!
The party had an UP theme because of Luke;s love for the movie and balloons. In my opinion, it was a big hit! (I am posting later in the week on the details of the actual planning and throwing of an UP party). Anyway, Rachel N, did an amazing job on all the artwork. You need to check out her website.

What a fun theme and party! I love the posters! The egg hunt was a great idea too! I am sure Luke with carrying his matchbox carrying case around everywhere. Happy Birthday Luke!

It was a great day for Luke! Emily did a fantastic job on making everything special for him – the party was great (thank you Rachel for the wonderful art!!), and Luke has been enjoying his new toys and movies today!
