Rebekah’s 3rd Birthday Party at Burger King

So, Sunday the 12th is Rebe’s 3rd birthday. The only thing I like better than birthdays are birthday parties! (Just call me Little Miss Birthday!)- especially if it’s one of my kids! So, no question we had to celebrate, particularly with Nana and Papa in town to add to the festivities. The tricky thing was that we planned Josh’s and my Edinburgh trip the weekend before we were moving- we had to move from our Aberdeen flat to a transition house in Banchory (45 minutes away) before we move to our new flat on the 29th. We didn’t have time to do the party before our trip, we had the Sunday after our trip but no time to prepare anything, then time in Banchory- too far away for anyone to come to a party. Such a dilemma!

Josh had the genius idea of hosting a princess party at Burger King on that Sunday and he suggested his mom would probably make the cake for me. Bless her heart, she did! Funny story there- I was just thinking a 9×13 with some fun frosting, but as a joke, I sent Nana link to some very complicated castle cakes…after she looked, I said ha ha, just kidding! Evidently, I planted an idea because look at this amazing cake!!! Not only did she watch my kids for 2 days whilst we were in Edinburgh, she also made this ace of cakes-

Our Friends

Betsy & Hannah

Angela, Archie, & Ella

Kate nursing Callum

Justin, Melissa, & Jamie

Lily (Kate’s daughter)

Sweet Grace helped take care of my two as much as possible

Singing to the birthday girl…all week Rebekah had been asking if they would sing, “Happy Birthday dear Bekah”? She was pretty excited when they did!

Getting to eat the cake and its yummy treats

Getting presents was a big hit!

This so reminds me of me! I used to pile on every gift I possibly could…

Fun Fun Fun party – the birthday girl looked adorably precious in her princess dress at Burger King which was of course the perfect place to wear it. Great to see shots of your friends most of whom I was fortunate enough to have met when there for Luke's birthday. Great party for the birthday girl!!
