Such Fun Cousins!!

I have really enjoyed seeing my two with my niece and nephew.  :)  They are getting along splendidly, and it has been great to see all four cousins latch onto each other, as well as to their grandparents and aunts/uncles.  Such sweet times.  Rebekah and Riley are particularly close-knit and pretty energetic.

I stole these pictures from my mom- this is their backyard time with Uncle Billy.

29 Weeks Pregnant…in a swimsuit?!

I’m not sure who thought swimming while enormously pregnant was such a good idea, but they do sell maternity swimsuits….not that I bought one, but I did borrow one from my sweet friend, Joy.  I am so glad I did- even though I am very self-concious, getting in the water is the ONLY way to stay cool in 100+ degree temps.  So, here I am 29 weeks pregnant, friends.

Seriously, though, here we go…and then some of my awesome family.  :)

Our Trip to Ireland

Dublin with Kids

We had a lovely trip to Ireland this weekend with the kids and Josh’s parents!  We hopped a RyanAir flight from Aberdeen to Dublin, which only took an hour.  We packed very light and didn’t check anything- made for the cheapest travel possible.  Josh figured out what buses we needed when and navigated us to a great bed and breakfast {Seamus is awesome, by the way!}.  Our family of 4 shared a room- we put the kids down first, hung out with Mike and Phyllis in the adjacent room, then went back to our room.  The kids have been sharing a room for a week, so that wasn’t really an issue- it was more that it was Luke’s first time out of a crib!  I was worried he would fall out of a bed, so we made him sleep on the pallet.  Like every detail of the entire trip, Luke was very excited!  Unfortunately, I was up about every hour putting him back on his pallet as he rolled all over the room in his sleep and then would get really mad about not being where he wanted to be.  The second night, we popped a pillow next to the pallet and he stayed much closer to the right place and slept much better.  They both did actually, which is good because they were beyond exhausted.

Our highlights were:

It was a rough 1st night, so Josh grabbed them at 5:30am and let me sleep a little longer.

And we are not ashamed.  At all.

Huntly Castle

Mom, the kids, and I hit Huntly Castle again this trip- we have season passes and we love Dean’s Shortbread Factory!  Even though it was a rainy day, we were able to miss most of it and enjoy the castle.
