Don’t forget about the very POSH give-away! You have until Sunday night!
Riding a bike trike!
Rebekah is learning to ride a trike! I think one of the more important lessons we learned is that bike riding and dresses are not well-paired. Regardless, little one loves riding her bike and Mamama was more than happy to take her around the block during Luke’s nap time.
I was surprised how quickly Luke warmed up to my mom! Not that she’s not wonderful, but you may recall that Luke has a massive mama crush. However, he has held up his arms repeatedly for “Mamama!” and even held up his hand for extra support down the stairs, while saying, “Here go!” I am very pleased to see him love on my mom! In related news, Mom brought Luke his very on navy crocs! You should have seen his eyes light up! He is definitely into that I am 2 and therefore love all shoes, but especially ones I can put on myself stage- so new shoes were just the ticket! He looks so big boy in his clothes- actually, he really looks just like my brother! It has been fun to see him turn into a little boy.
Rebekah has been all about Mamama. She wants to sit next to her at all times, and every activity involved Mamama. Very sweet. They’re not only sharing a room, but also a bed, so it’s good they’re quite chummy!
Unfortunately, as well as my mom is adjusting, Luke is following his usual “we have guests” protocol and is waking up a LOT at night and in the wee hours of the morning. He is pushing thru 2 of his last 4 molars, and I believe this is the problem (this is his pattern: messed up sleeping and waning appetite=teeth). Sometimes he’s crying, sometimes he’s chattering (last night at 11, he was yelling “Yea!” and clapping), but he is not sleeping as usual. So, my mom is being awakened unnecessarily, which doesn’t help anything. Yea that there are only 4 teeth to go! (Yet, I ask myself, what will I blame random wake-up’s on then…?).
