I wanted to put some pics of the house as it’s coming along. Just so you know, we’re going to do a lot of work on the kitchen, as well as add a bathroom downstairs (we only have 1). I decided to forego my obsessive compulsive self and {mostly} take pictures of the house as it is…I straightened a bit, but you’ll see odds and ends and random knick knacks where they don’t really go…not really that big of a deal, is it?
The Outside

Note: All things lace will disappear soon.
Living Room

Kitchen/Breakfast Nook
This is an adorable, badly painted/decorated space. We will pull up the linoleum for the beautiful wood beneath. We will also return the cabinets to stained wood and incorporate a new fridge, stove, and dishwasher with new counters. I am hoping my dad will build some corner benches for the nook beneath the windows. (not pictured) All in due time!

Kids’ Rooms {ignore our foot board in Lizzie’s room- we are waiting on some of our bed pieces b/f we can put it together; Rachel and Kate, y’all are so awesome for the bunting and quilt!!}
Note: I painted Lizzie’s room green. It is my happy color. ;)

Our room {minus put-together bed}
Note: Phyllis and I painted our room cream instead of lavender.

The bathroom

The basement
Alas, I have taken no pics, but we have 2 bedrooms, a living area, storage, space for a bathroom, and a laundry space. Yes, I am thrilled!!

Awesome – it is so “you” and looks like you’ve been there a lot longer than you have! Have fun continuing to nest and enjoy your new home. So happy for you
Looks great! I think you have more things hung on the walls in your new house then I have in mine (and we’ve been here 6 yrs). You’re super woman! Would love to discuss Luke and Bekah sharing a room. We’re going to move Howie and Caroline together. Would love to know what you learned (tips/dos/don’ts)
It looks great! I always think its fun to see people’s style after moving back from Aberdeen, since none of us actually pick out our own furnishings there. I bet it was really nice to be re-united with all of your things. Do you still like them? Brannon and I didn’t like a lot of our stuff when we came back because our tastes had changed while we were over there. Just curious if yours did or not.
All.The.Space!! I can imagine you are thrilled!
What a beautiful house! The basement sounds fantastic!
I should clarify that the basement is all pretty “rough”- def needs some work, too, to look more like a house and less like space.
The house is great. The neighborhood is beautiful. Em has done a great job of making this house their home. I loved being there and can’t wait to see what you have done by October when Mike and come.
