Things I Love Thursday: Give-Away!

Japanese Green Tea with Cherry

What isn't more delicious with cherry?

As you must know, we live in the land of tea.  As such, I have recently fallen in love with a tea that I feel you must try!  It comes from Mac Bean’s here in Aberdeen and is the best tea ever!  It is Japanese Green Tea with Cherry.  It is sweet and delicate and a lovely light, light pink color as it seeps.

The flavor and mystery of Japan are captured in this classic blend of Chinese green tea and cherry blossoms. Cherry flavor is highly praised in Japan, and this tea uses cherry flavoring to enhance and intensify the sweet notes of pure Green tea from China. Sweet and light bodied, this exotic tea makes a blissful break from the bustle of the business day.

I simply cannot tell you how amazingly delicious it is.  It is even tastier with Scottish shortbread biscuits (ie cookies), so I feel I must do a give-away just for fun!

You will get a 100-gram package of Japanese green tea with cherry and a tea strainer (so you can actually steep the tea), as well as some shortbread biscuits!

You can be from anywhere, and I will ship it to you!! If you do live in Aberdeen, tho, I’ll probably swing it by- just so you know.  ;)

You have until Sunday night to enter- I will draw a winner Monday morning and will post, so make sure to check back on Monday.

You’ll be entered in any of the following ways (or any combination of them):

  1. Just leave a comment.
  2. Face book it and leave a comment telling me you did.
  3. Blog it and link to me and leave me a comment telling me you did.
  4. Have one of your friends enter and mention you sent them.

This is just for fun- so please feel free to enter for sheer enjoyment.  No one’s making any money off this- in fact, I’m paying for it.  ;)

    I read about you guys all the time after getting your original blog from your MIL, Phyllis. I am an AVID tea drinker and I have been drinking A&P Tips (sound familiar?) for months now, and before that I ordered my teas from THE REPUBLIC of TEA. I am always interested in trying a new tea! I probably drink 6 to 8 cups of hot tea a day! I teach, too and I take my bags to school and use the micro! I loved steeped tea, even better! Oooo, I hope you pick me! ;o}

  35. My sister, Joy told me to do this! Hope we win!

  36. Natalie F. says:

  38. We have a family tradition of gathering for hot tea at the end of a day. It’s not everyday, but when the pace of life allows and we can come together to recount stories or discuss family matters, etc.
Hope we get to taste this wonderful tea- Andrea for the Johnsons
p.s. Gayle referred us to your site!

  39. I always learn something new
