TILT: Hailey’s Halos {& a Give-Away!}

Bad Hair…Year?

One of my favorite things about being the mother of a little girl is all the accessorizing we get to do!  From bright, polka-dotted ribbons to painted toes and striped tights, I am in heaven!  Praise the Lord my little girl delights in being frilly and girly, too!  Anyway, through the years, we have struggled with Rebekah’s hair!  She was born with a full head of brown hair which turned into a lovely blonde mane in just 2 years…but not before I cut bangs!  Sigh.  Thus, we have weathered the storm of bad hair with whale’s tales, pig tails, and pony tails.  Once Rebekah’s bangs had grown long enough, I got frustrated with her 2 year old fingers deftly pulling out every rubber band I put in.  Rather than fight every battle, I finally settled on Texas-sized bows anchored on alligator clips.  This fun style lasted for almost 2 years.  Now, however, Rebekah doesn’t love the weight of the bow, nor does she always want a bow.  Additionally, she either has broken hairs in the front or is always growing new ones…either way, we needed an easy, and preferably pretty solution for wayward wisps…Hailey’s Halos!!

Pig Tails and a Clip

Her first bow!

I love Hailey’s Halos because they are incredibly lightweight, lovely, and can be added to any hairstyle (pony tails, braid(s), pig tails, or down) and will keep the wispies back!  Plus, as soon as Rebekah saw them, she was so excited because she thought they were so pretty!  Lastly, my good friend makes them and I love supporting mumpreneuers- especially when their products are useful, pretty, and affordable!

Kristin has graciously decided to give away 3 headbands , so there will be 3 winners!!!!!  If you’re not a mama to girls, you should still enter because Hailey’s Halos are wonderful gifts!!  I got Sophia for my niece!  Plus, any of my readers are eligible for a *15% discount just by checking out the site and making a purchase!

There are lots of ways to enter.  Make sure you leave me comments so you’re entered multiple times!  You have until Sunday night to enter!

  1. Leave a comment and tell me which one you like (color or preferably the name from the Etsy store)
  2. Facebook and/or Tweet it and leave 2 comments saying you did.
  3. Blog it and link to this give-away and to Kristin’s Etsy page- leave me 3 comments for it!
  4. Refer a friend- ask them to leave an extra comment mentioning who sent them (or you can add a comment if they don’t).

*There aren’t any discount codes on etsy, so all you need to do is leave Kristin a message in the ‘message to seller’ field during checkout mentioning my blog {The Adv of Miss Mommy}.  You will initially be charged full price, but she will go back and issue a 15% refund via Paypal.  Again, she is more than trustworthy, so no worries!!

I’d like to have Hannah also, for one of my granddaughters or a friend’s daughter!!?? Anyway, love the pictures, down memory lane…Also pretty with cascading hair. Guess she gave up on getting you to cut it??

  10. HI Em,
I love them all, but really love the Isabella and the Hannah most. Thanks for TILT.

  11. The Good Fairy says:

These are precious and will be a welcome addition to the mane that is attached to my daughter’s head. Thanks for the referral–you know I love me some Etsy :) I like the Hannah Skinny with the two flowers on the chance that we get picked. Nice post! I was surprised how much Rebekah looked like Luke when she was a toddler. I like the whale’s tale but we call those BamBam tails.

  12. I would pass this along to a nice little girl, I’m sure…if it wouldn’t fit on my head. :)

  13. They are just all so cute! I love the “Hannah” or the “Sophia” in red.

  14. I love Hannah with the pink flower or Sophia…do you think they’d fit me? I’m struggling with wispys, and I’m 28!!!
