I will summarize quickly…the flight was long and sometimes hard, but we made it safely to TX…6 of our 9 checked items did not. We are still waiting on them. Apparently, FedEx does not deliver on the 4th. We are managing just fine, tho. :) Kids are adjusting beautifully- Lizzie got right on track, tho she is still not 100% herself. Her Texas hair is incredible. Everyone is loving her. :) The big kids are sooooo happy to be getting quality time with g-parents and not marginalized in the corner while we pack up the only life they know. Leaving was harder than I expected, but I am delighted to be close to family and one step closer to our new home.

Lizzie has found that not having a sleep sack allows her to flip over more easily and that Mommy will only flip her back to her tummy once. Thus, she has learned to sleep on her back, too. ;) I am LOVING seeing her arms and legs {which are usually covered!}.

Sweet post and great pics! I especially loved the pic at the air port and Lizzie in her sweet red, white and blue! I totally started to tear up when you wrote, “while we packed up the only life they knew!” I know that will be my kids too. Glad you’re adjusting well and enjoying family though. I’m sure it will only get easier
Yay! So glad you guys made it safely. I can’t imagine the flight. I heard from Aunt Kathy that much of your luggage didn’t make it. Hope you are reunited soon. Bet your are soaking up that family time.
Yay! Enjoy the heat for me! Lizzie really DOES look like you!
Hurray! So excited for you guys!!!
So glad to have you back in the states and such a great day seeing all of you today in Shiner!! Love the photos and know it was hard packing up to leave Scotland!
